कथनी को करनी में बदलने वाले चले गए
अंधेरे रास्तों में दीप जलाने वाले चले गए

नफरत और लालच से भरे इस जमाने में
वो मोहब्बत का पैगाम देने वाले चले गए

कोई फर्क नही है हिन्दू और मुसलमान में
एकता का ये पाठ पढ़ाने वाले चले गए

जीतने की एक होड़ सी लगी यहाँ चारों ओर
और वो हार कर भी जितने वाले चले गए

बस जुमले ही जुमले  फैलें हैं चारों ओर
जुमलों को हकीकत में बदलने वाले चले गए

एक ही मोदी काफी था बर्बाद-ए- चमन करने को
पग-पग पर मोदी बैठें हैं,अंजाम-ए- चमन क्या होगा।
